Odorico Garcia, 61, of Pageland, SC passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025 in Monroe, North Carolina. He was born on January 14, 1964 in Ebano, Mexico to the late Lino Garcia and Leoadia Gonzalez Garcia. Odorico's journey of 61 years was marked by devotion to his family, his church, and nature.

Odorico's life was a testament to his unwavering commitment to his family and his faith. He shared a beautiful marriage of 33 years with his beloved wife, Elvia Garcia of 33 years of Pageland, South Carolina. Together, they raised a family that was the center of his world: his son, Adrian Garcia (Serena) of Pageland, SC; his daughters, Betsy Martinez (Werner) of Pageland, SC and Maritza Garcia of Matthews, NC. His role as a grandfather to Sofia Martinez, Mateo Martinez, and Beckam Garcia was one he cherished with all his heart, showering them with love and joy. Odorico's eight brothers and sisters knew him as a pillar of strength and generosity, a man who always extended a helping hand.

For over twenty-five years, Odorico served as a pastor, touching countless lives with his compassionate spirit and unwavering faith. His dedication to his congregation and his role as a spiritual leader was evident in every sermon he delivered and every life he touched. He was not only a pastor but also a community leader, especially within the Hispanic Community, where he worked tirelessly to uplift and support his fellow community members.

Odorico's love for nature and the outdoors was a reflection of his appreciation for God's creation. He found peace and solace in the beauty of the natural world, often taking the time to explore and revel in its wonders. His passion for soccer remained with him throughout his life, as he enjoyed both playing and watching the sport.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Pageland Community Center. The Funeral Service will be from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2025 with Pastor Angel Gomez officiating.

They will receive friends on Sunday January 26, 2025 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home. There will be a Celebration of Life Graveside Service on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 3:15 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland with Pastor officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland.

Nació el 14 de enero de 1964 en Ébano, México, hijo de Lino García y Leoadia González García, ambos fallecidos. La trayectoria de 61 años de Odorico estuvo marcada por la devoción a su familia, su iglesia y la naturaleza.

La vida de Odorico fue un testimonio de su compromiso inquebrantable con su familia y su fe. Compartió un hermoso matrimonio de 33 años con su amada esposa, Elvia García, de 33 años, de Pageland, Carolina del Sur. Recibirán a sus amigos el domingo 26 de enero de 2025 de 2:00 p. m. a 3:00 p. m. en Baumgartner Funeral Home. Habrá un servicio de celebración de la vida junto a la tumba el domingo 26 de enero de 2025 a las 3:15 p. m. en Greenlawn Memorial Park de Pageland con el pastor oficiando.
