Mrs. Ottie "Von" Small Blackmon, 85, of Pageland, SC passed away peacefully in Hartsville, SC on Friday, February 11, 2022 while surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Blackmon was born on August 27, 1936 to the late Charlie Small and Nellie Hinson Small. Mrs. Blackmon was a member of Union Baptist Church, Lancaster, SC. She loved to babysit, cook and talk to others. Her favorite TV shows were, "Days of Our Lives" and various game shows. Von loved to spend time outdoors gardening and enjoying her flowers. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph Delnor Blackmon, Sr.; son, Kenneth R. Blackmon; granddaughter, Charity Blackmon; daughter-in-law, Amy Blackmon and eight brothers and sisters. Mrs. Blackmon is survived by her sons, Dale Blackmon of Lancaster, SC and Jeff Blackmon of Pageland, SC; daughter, Kathy Arant (Wayne) of Pageland, SC; sisters, Gladys Pierce and Alma Hurst (Harold) both of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Allison Carter (Wendell) of Lancaster, SC, Brandy Blackmon of Lancaster, SC, Chassidy Gates (Chris) of Lexington, SC, Kenneth Arant of Pageland, SC, Tyler Blackmon of Lancaster, SC, Tayler Blackmon of Lancaster, SC and Haley Blackmon of Jefferson, SC; great grandchildren, Cameron Wallace and Brooke Carter of Lancaster, SC; Logan Gates, Emmalyn Gates and Hailey Gates all of Lexington, SC and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home, 708 West McGregor Street, Pageland, SC 29728. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Pageland Cemetery with Rev. Melvin Keziah officiating.
