Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Dianne Jordan Hicks, 73, of Pageland, SC went to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 14, 2022 while at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Pat Hicks was born in Monroe, NC on December 9, 1948 to the late Ward Lloyd and Eloise Leaird Jordan. Pat was affectionately known by her family was "Patsy." Pat worked for Safeway and United Finance and was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Pageland, SC. She loved to travel and go camping at the beach and mountains. Pat always enjoyed spending time with her family, especially watching her son race his car and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed driving her golf cart around the neighborhood and going out to eat at different restaurants. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards and going fishing. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Dennis Jordan and sister-in-law, Phyllis Jordan. Mrs. Hicks is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Dennis R. Hicks of Pageland, SC; her loving children, Russ Hicks (Sherry) of Pageland, SC, Michelle Hicks Hunter (Jamie) of Pageland, SC, Brian Hicks of Lancaster, SC and Matt Hicks (Anna) of Pageland, SC; brothers, Wayne C. Jordan (Margie) of Jefferson, SC, W. Ralph Jordan (Carol) of Indian Trail, NC, Ricky Lloyd Jordan of Myrtle Beach, SC and LaVaughn "Von" Jordan of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Sandra Carpenter (Kevin) of Monroe, NC; grandchildren, Dustin Hicks, Whitney Traywick, Maleah Hicks, Avery Hicks, Anders Hicks, Madison Hunter, Tyler Hunter, Jordan Hicks, Breanna Hicks, Brandi Wilson and Cory Hicks; great grandchildren, Dylan Heath, Huntlee Traywick and Silas Traywick and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home, 708 West McGregor Street, Pageland, SC 29728. There will be a Celebration of Life Funeral Service on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Mack Mullis and Pastor David Bridwell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland.
