Obituary

Patricia "Pattie" C. Wolfe, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, in Monroe, North Carolina. She was born on July 15, 1957, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late William Corley Cook and Barbara Janelle Hughes Cook. She was predeceased by her grandson, Thomas.

Pattie's infectious laugh and boundless energy earned her the affectionate nickname "Chatty Pattie," a moniker that captured her love for conversation and her ability to make everyone around her feel at home. Her unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her life.

She was the beloved wife of Donald Wolfe of Pageland, SC, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. Pattie was a devoted mother to her sons, Aaron Planton (Stephanie) of Dallas, NC, and Jason Planton of Cramerton, NC; and her daughters, Emily Dodson (Jacob) of Bessemer City, NC, and Chrissy Humphrey of Charlotte, NC. Her role as a mother was one of her greatest joys, and she instilled in her children the values of compassion, resilience, and acceptance.

Pattie was a cherished sister to Stan Cook (Monica) of Waxhaw, NC, David Cook (Lee) of Orlando, FL, and Tyra Skinner (John) of Wesley Chapel, NC. Her siblings will remember her as the heart of their family, always ready with a word of encouragement and a smile that could light up a room.

Her legacy will live on through her adored grandchildren, Vincent, Miles, Gunner, Eden, and Judea, and Israel who will carry forward the lessons of love and generosity that Pattie so effortlessly embodied.

Known for her thoughtful nature and faith-filled spirit, Pattie was a friend to all. She had a unique ability to uplift others, offering a listening ear and a heart full of empathy. Her acceptance of others was unwavering, and she believed in the goodness of people, always looking for the best in those she met.

As we bid farewell to Patricia "Pattie" C. Wolfe, we celebrate a life lived with passion and purpose. Her spirit will continue to inspire us, and her love will remain in our hearts forever. Pattie's journey on earth may have ended, but her story will be told for generations to come, a story of a woman who loved her Lord, her family, and her community with every fiber of her being.
