Mrs. Patricia Spadafore Pope, 74, of Fort Mill, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Levine & Dickson Hospice House of Charlotte. Patricia was born on December 22, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Paul and Anita Levi Spadafore. She later met and united in marriage to the late Donald Pope. Patricia received her Master's Degree in Education and was a teacher for many years. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her dog Tramp who she loved dearly. Patricia was also a member of Unity Presbyterian Church of Fort Mill. In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Kay Vincent. Those left to celebrate and remember her life include her loving son, Dr. Brian Pope (Angela) of Fort Mill, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Owen Pope and D. Smith Pope both of Fort Mill, South Carolina; sister, JoAnn Gardner of Chicago, Illinois; brother-in-law, Billy Pope (Ruth) of Monroe, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Patsy Isley (Bill) of Burlington, North Carolina; also many nieces and nephews. The family will hold a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Unity Presbyterian Church in Fort Mill, South Carolina with Pastor Jeannie Bickett officiating. Burial will be private at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. The family will receive friends following the Memorial Service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, March 19, 2018 in the Fellowship Hall of Unity Presbyterian Church, 303 Tom Hall Street, Fort Mill, South Carolina 29715. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Presbyterian Church, PO Box 1267, Fort Mill, South Carolina 29716.
