Paula Snipes
Reynolds
Sep 29, 1974 — Jan 24, 2026
Paula Snipes Reynolds, 51, of Pageland, SC passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026 in Monroe, North Carolina. She was born on September 29, 1974 in Lexington Park, Maryland to Gary Lee Snipes Jr. and Debbie Burch Hough.
She was the cherished daughter of Gary Lee Snipes, Jr. and his significant other, Sharon Huggins of Florence, South Carolina and Debbie Hough and her husband, Russell of Jefferson, South Carolina. Her childhood was shared with her loving brother, Nathan Snipes of Charlotte, North Carolina, and her sister, Natalie Mills of Peachland, North Carolina, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
The tapestry of Paula's life was woven with deep and enduring love, most notably with her beloved husband of 23 years, Chris Reynolds of Pageland, South Carolina. Together, they built a life rich in joy and companionship, often found side by side, whether it was fishing on a serene lake or strolling through vibrant car shows. Their love was further multiplied with the birth of their two wonderful children, Ethan Christopher Reynolds and Casey Elizabeth Reynolds both of Pageland, South Carolina. Paula's role as a mother was one she cherished above all, guiding her children with a gentle hand and an open heart.
Paula's family tree was rooted in strength and character, as she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Gary and Ina Snipes, and her maternal grandparents, Frank and Jane Burch. She also carried the memory of her uncle, Mike Burch and aunt, Lillian Sullivan with grace and fondness. Her legacy continues through her adoring niece, Gracie Mills and her spirited nephews, Timothy Wallace with his significant other, Lauren Mullis and Carter Wallace.
A woman of many passions, Paula's love for the beach was as vast as the ocean itself. Her adventurous spirit found solace in the rhythm of the waves and the warmth of the sun. She was a thoughtful soul who extended her kindness to anyone in need, volunteering her time at the Ronald McDonald House, where her compassionate nature brought comfort to many.
Paula's life was a reflection of the words that best described her: loving, adventurous, and thoughtful. She supported her husband, Chris in all his endeavors, standing by him as a pillar of encouragement and love. Her faithful companion, Sadie, was always by her side, sharing in the family's adventures and offering unconditional affection.
