Mrs. Peggy Louise Mills Hinson, 79, of Pageland, South Carolina went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at MUSC-Lancaster Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hinson was born on October 25, 1939 in Pageland, South Carolina to the late Bert Funderburk Mills and Nancy "Louise" Jordan Mills. Peggy was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She loved going to church and the fellowship with other church members. She enjoyed writing in her book about Sunday sermons. In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby G. Mills. Those left to celebrate and remember her life include her brothers, J.T. Mills (Linda) of Tradesville, SC, Bert Wayne Mills (Pat) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Donnie Mills (Dianne) of Pageland, SC and Stephen Mills of Pageland, SC; sisters, Shirley Helms of Pageland, SC, Virginia "Pat" Whitaker (Alton) of Lancaster, SC and Linda Pressley (Jerry) of Lancaster, SC; sister-in-law, Dot Mills of Pageland, SC and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Providence Baptist Church with Dr. Roger Wall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1: 30 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Providence Baptist Church, 232 Providence Church Road, Pageland, South Carolina 29728.
