Mrs. Polly Campbell Nicholson, 49, of Pageland, South Carolina went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 while surrounded by her loving family. Polly was born on June 3, 1968 in Chesterfield, South Carolina to Mary Hodge Campbell and the late Thomas G. Campbell. She later met and united in marriage to Rev. Rodney Nicholson. She worked for Hough Insurance in Chesterfield, South Carolina for many years. Polly was an avid reader, in her free time she enjoyed to sing. Polly's biggest joy was the love she had for her family as well as being a homemaker. She was also a member of High Point Baptist Church. Polly never met a stranger and her kind personality provided a sense of comfort to everyone around her. She will be dearly missed by her family and community but she will continue to touch our hearts with such fond memories which were shared during her time here with us. Polly is preceded in death by her father, Thomas G. Campbell. Those left to celebrate and remember her life include her loving husband, Rev. Rodney Nicholson of Pageland, South Carolina, son, Matthew Alexander Nicholson of Pageland, South Carolina, daughter, Megan Alexandra Nicholson of Pageland, South Carolina, mother, Mary Hodge Campbell of Jefferson, South Carolina, sisters, Margaret Gulledge (Rev. Randy Gulledge) of Hartsville, South Carolina and Tonie Jones (Robert) of Jefferson, South Carolina. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 4, 2017 at High Point Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Gulledge officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at High Point Baptist Church, 16 High Point Church Road, Pageland, SC 29728. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to High Point Baptist Church, 16 High Point Church Rd., Pageland, SC 29728.
