Mr. Ralph Blackmon, 75, of Pageland, SC passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 in Monroe, NC. Mr. Blackmon is the son of the late Roy F. and Reba T. Blackmon. He is preceded in death by brother, Bob Blackmon, Son, Kenneth R. Blackmon, and a granddaughter, Charity Blackmon. Mr. Blackmon was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and cousin. He was retired from Springs Industries of Lancaster, SC and Dunn Manufacturing of Monroe, NC. Mr. Blackmon is survived by his wife, Ottie "Von" Blackmon of the home, sons, Dale Blackmon (Amy) of Lancaster, SC, Jeff Blackmon (Ashley) of Pageland, SC, daughter, Kathy Arant (Wayne) of Pageland, SC, brothers, Walt Blackmon (Martha) of Georgia, Ben Blackmon (Myrtle) of Pageland, SC, Henry Blackmon (Faye) of Pageland, SC, sisters, Brenda Hubalek (Joe) of Inex, TX, Barbara Barrett (Mikey) of Jefferson, SC, grandchildren, Allison Carter (Wendell) of Lancaster, SC, Brandy Blackmon of Pageland, SC, Chassidy Blackmon of Lancaster, SC, Kenneth Arant of Pageland, SC, Tyler Blackmon of Lancaster, SC, Tayler Blackmon of Lancaster, SC Haley Blackmon of Pageland, SC, Great Grandchildren, Cameron Wallace, Brooke Carter and Logan Gates all of Lancaster, SC and numerous Nieces and Nephews. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 27, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Pageland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Sutton-Baumgartner Funeral Home.
