Mr. Randy Scott Tilson, 58, of Pageland, SC passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 in Gastonia, NC. Mr. Tilson was born on September 17, 1962 in Gastonia, NC to Shirley Faye Owens Tilson and the late Virlyn Stanley Tilson. Randy was a very loving and caring man with a big heart and soul. When he loved, it was with all he had. Life throws curves sometimes, but we work thru them. His biggest passion was fishing. Randy was a knife collector that enjoyed making them from scratch. He enjoyed woodcarving, especially making canes and walking sticks and gave them to people in need. Randy was an avid animal lover, especially dogs and horses and loved being a blacksmith. He was a member of Sandhills Cowboy Church in Pageland, SC. Randy loved his grandson, Baiden, who was his all-around buddy. Lyric was his baby. He loved and was so proud of his daughter, Kenyia. Pride would overcome his face and voice when he spoke of her accomplishments and her passion for family. She is his baby girl. He is predeceased by his brother, Tim Tilson and paternal grandmother, Marie Tilson. Randy Tilson is survived by his wife, Myra Tilson of Pageland, SC; mother, Shirley Faye Tilson of Gastonia, NC; step son, Brandon Withers (Jessica) of Fairview, NC; daughter, Kenyia "Baby Girl" Marshall (Daniel) of Dallas, NC; step daughters, Carrie Joplin of Charlotte, NCand Erica Usher Gaskins (Jay) of Ruby, SC; niece, Abby Tilson; grandchildren, Baiden, Lyric, Kalyssa, Lindsey, Landon, Jerica, Jayden, and Jayson; numerous cousins; and friend of 50 years, Roger Hixson of High Point, NC.
