Mr. Richard Lee Denkins, age 69, of Pageland, SC, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC. Mr. Richard Lee Denkins was born in Flint, Michigan to the late Avis and Beatrice Seratt Denkins. Mr. Denkins united in marriage to Juanita Malloy on August 13, 1976. He served in the US Army. He is survived by his Wife, Juanita Denkins of Pageland, SC, Son, Tracy Denkins of Flint, MI, Daughters, Tina Smith of Flint, MI and Tonya Denkins of FL, Sisters, Vaniavee Plamondon of Genesee, MI, Barbara Davis of Kershaw, SC, Freda Woolwine of Vasser, MI and Lavada Cutcher of Kershaw, SC, Five Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, SC The interment will be at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
