Richard Franklin (Lil' Rick) Funderburk II, 17 years old, of Pageland, SC passed away on Saturday October 7, 2023 in Monroe North Carolina. Lil' Rick was born on June 28, 2006, in Monroe, North Carolina to Richard Funderburk and Michelle Mosely Funderburk. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Clifford Mosely and Shelby Mosely; great grandmother, Ellen Cleo Funderburk.

Lil' Rick loved life. Once he graduated, he had plans to run the family farm. He had a love for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, riding his four wheeler and dirt bike. Lil' Rick played sports at South Pointe Christian School. He loved attending South Pointe, where he loved his teachers and friends. Lil' Rick was loved by everyone and he will be dearly missed. It gives us great comfort knowing that Lil' Rick got saved and was baptized.

Lil' Rick is survived by his parents, Richard Funderburk and Michelle Mosely Funderburk of Pageland, SC; sister, Renee Funderburk of Hartsville, SC; paternal grandparents, Ronnie and Elaine Funderburk of Pageland, SC; many aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved very much.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at South Pointe Fellowship Church, 701 East Cato Street, Pageland, SC 29728.

There will be a Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at South Pointe Fellowship Church with Pastor Kenny Pittman and Pastor O'dell Moseley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland.
