Mr. Richard Meek, 77, of Mt. Croghan, SC passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at his home while surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Hospice. Mr. Richard Meek was born on February 24, 1943 in Toledo, OH to the late Edwin Meek and Dorothy Markwood Meek. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Meek and sister, Nancy Ayers. Mr. Meek served his country in the US Army. He moved to the Chesterfield County area from Ohio five years ago. He was a current gun store owner and former auto mechanic shop owner. He enjoyed old cars and liked to work on them as well. Mr. Meek also loved dogs. Mr. Meek is survived by his wife, Debra Meek of Mt. Croghan, SC; sons, James Meek (Jennifer) of Toledo, Ohio, Thomas Meek (Mary) of Northwood, Ohio, Christopher Meek (Marty) of Gilbert, Arizona and Richard Meek-Flores (Alva) of Camden, South Carolina; daughter, Patricia "Patti" Kapperman (Scott) of Gilbert, Arizona; fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
