Mr. Robert William "Bill" Knight, 68, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at his home. Bill was born September 15, 1949, in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late William Beaslie and Willie Kirkley Knight. Bill was an accountant in the Charlotte area for over 40 years. He also worked for First Union National Bank, as well as, Holbrook Water Cruising. In his free time, he loved to hike and attend Wake Forest games, and travel. He was a lifelong member of Charlotte First Baptist Church. Those left to celebrate and remember his life include his loving aunt, Peggy Demby of Pageland, South Carolina, and also many cousins, friends, and tax clients. A Celebration of Life Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
