Robert Wayne Wright, age 80, of Jefferson, South Carolina, passed away on May 6, 2026. He was born on September 22, 1945, in Chesterfield, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Perry Wright and Alma Courtney Wright. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Wright, and his sister, Belvia Rollins.

Robert is survived by his son, Chad E. Wright of Hepzibah, Georgia, and his daughters, Cindy Patterson of Pageland, South Carolina, Laura Wright of Jefferson, South Carolina, and Shannon Knight of Pageland, South Carolina. He was a proud brother to Andy Wright and his wife Cathy of Pageland, South Carolina. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Robert was a man who found joy in simple living. He enjoyed working on cars, working in the yard, and living off the land. He took pride in doing things for himself, and he was known for being handy in any situation.
