Mr. Roger Dennis Schember, 70, of Jefferson, SC passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 in Monroe, NC. Mr. Schember was born on December 14, 1950 in Pigeon, Michigan to the late Kenneth Schember and Lois Bailey Schember. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Schember and his beloved fur baby, Beast. Roger was a former employee of Olive Branch Horse Farm of Wingate, NC and Rock-Tenn of Marshville, NC. He was a very loving and caring person. Mr. Schember enjoyed watching sports, especially the Detroit Lions. Roger Schember is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy Schember of the home; daughters, Mellisa Schember of the home, Margaret (Lee) Meade of Pageland, SC; son, Kenny (Brittany) Schember of Leesburg, FL; grandchildren, Dixie (Josh) Deas, Billy Clanton, Chase Clanton, Abby Clanton, Luke Clanton, Miranda Merriman, Lee Meade, Jacob Meade, Carlee Meade, Wyatt Schember and Peyton Schember; great grandchildren; Ella Grace Deas and Hollynn Danielle Faulkenberry; sister, Laura (Matt) Riley of MI; numerous nieces and nephews; many friends and extended family and his beloved pet, Ghost. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Baumgartner Funeral Home, Pageland, SC.
