Mrs. Ruby Pinyan Funderburk, 80, of Pageland, SC passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Monroe, NC with her family by her side. Mrs. Ruby Funderburk was born on October 18, 1939 in Whiteville, North Carolina to the late Perry Pinyan and Essie Haigler Pinyan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Frank Funderburk; son, Joseph Frank Funderburk and grandchildren, Rodney Ray Funderburk and Barry Ray Riggins. Mrs. Funderburk loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved to cook with her grandson. She liked to sew, enjoyed traveling to the mountains and the beach, and helping other people. Mrs. Funderburk is survived by her son, Andrew Funderburk of Pageland, SC; daughter, Wanda Riggins of Pageland, SC; sisters, Madaline Plummer (Lonnie) of Monroe, NC, Daphine Craig of Hember Bridge, NC, and Peggy White (Ronald) of Kannapolis, NC; grandchildren, Virginia Harvey, Robert Morgan Jr., Mae McCall, Sonny Funderburk, Albert Riggins, Sheena Funderburk, and Barry Riggins Jr. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at the Baumgartner Funeral Home in Pageland, SC. There will be a Celebration of Life Funeral Service on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Baumgartner Funeral Home, Pageland, SC with Pastor Jeremy Johnson presiding.
