Sara Ann Astudillo, 57, of Rural Hall, North Carolina passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025. She was born on September 2, 1967, in Monroe, North Carolina. Sara is predeceased by her mother, Sara Arant, and her sister, Linda Foley.

She is survived by her companion, Johnnie Richards of Rural Hall, NC, who stood by her side, sharing in her love for life's simple pleasures. Her father, Robert Lee Arant of Pageland, SC, will fondly remember her as the light of his life. Sara's legacy continues through her children, Jeremy Moates of Pageland, SC, and Kristen Moates of Chesterfield, SC.

Sara's brother, Robert "Wayne" Arant (Kathy) of Pageland, SC, and her sister, Brenda Arant of Kershaw, SC, will miss her companionship. Her grandchildren, Zachary, Adrianna, Logan, Autumn, Payton, and Wyatt, were the joy of her existence, and she delighted in every opportunity to spoil them with her love and attention.

An enthusiast of life's simple pleasures, Sara found happiness in shopping, attending auctions, and expressing her creativity through baking cakes, crafting, making jewelry, and riding motorcycles. Her hands were rarely still, as she was always immersed in a project or planning the next adventure. Sara's cakes were not only a treat for the taste buds but also a display of her artistic talent, each one a unique creation that reflected her love for those she was baking for.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Baumgartner Funeral Home.
