Shari Gray, 56, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, in Pageland, South Carolina. Shari was born on January 3, 1969, in Glens Falls, to the late John Gray and Phyllis Clute Gray.
She was a loving mother, a doting grandmother, a caring sister, and a friend to all who knew her.
Shari's warmth radiated through her family, which was the centerpiece of her world. She is survived by her devoted sons, Jessie Mosher (Gloria) of Burlington, NC, and William Maxwell II of East Bend, NC; her beloved daughter, Ashton Bapp of Glens Falls, NC; her siblings, John Gray of Queensbury NY, Shellie Gray of Galway, NY, Jody Gray of NY and brother, Bruce Conklin (Jessica) of TX. Shari's legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, Jessica Mosher, Justin Mosher, Brian Mosher, Jason Maxwell, Allison Maxwell, Mason Maxwell, and Ason Maxwell, and her great-grandchildren, Landon Mosher and Naomi Gulley.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Shari's younger days she enjoyed hiking and camping, where she found solace in the beauty of nature. Shari's zest for life was also evident in her love for playing old video games, a hobby that kept her youthful spirit alive.
Shari found comfort and excitement in the pages of books, which were her constant companions. Her love for storytelling was only matched by the stories she created with her grandchildren, with whom she spent countless hours, imparting wisdom and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Shari's evenings were often spent in front of the television, where she enjoyed catching up on her favorite shows. This simple pleasure was a testament to her appreciation for life's quiet moments. Her innate desire to be involved in the lives of those she cared for was evident in her constant inquiries about their well-being, always wanting to be in the know and ready to lend a helping hand.
Described by those who knew her as loving, kind, and thoughtful, Shari's presence was a comfort to many. Her ability to listen, her willingness to help, and her unwavering support were the hallmarks of her character.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Baumgartner Funeral Home.
There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home with Pastor Trey Thompson officiating.
