Sharon Mills, 55, of Pageland, SC passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024 in Charlotte, NC. Born on February 3, 1969, in Monroe, North Carolina to Gene Rowell and Mary Thomas Rowell.

Sharon is survived by her devoted husband of 20 years, Homer Emery Mills, Jr. of Pageland, SC, her loving parents, Gene and Mary Rowell, and her children, Jimmy Russell and Jessica. Her life was further enriched by her stepchildren, Steven, Rick, and Sue, and her siblings, Michael Rowell (Annette), Karen Wheeler (Andres), Teresa Almond, and Angie Simpson (David). She was a cherished sister-in-law to Lynn Mills, Tammy Timmons, and Teresa Mills. Sharon's legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, Mariah, Juan, Javier, Mia, Alexis, Jasmine, Dylan, Allie, Savannah, Lane, Austin, Bentley, Carson, Kayson, Ryder, Jase, Hailey, and Paige. She was preceded in death by her son, Johnathon Russell, whose memory she held close to her heart.

Sharon's interests were a reflection of her vibrant personality. Her favorite color, purple, was as rich and deep as her love for life. Known for her crazy personality, Sharon had a big heart and an innate ability to take care of others. She had a gift for making people laugh, and her voice would light up a room when she sang. Sharon's happiest moments were spent with her family, cherishing every opportunity to create lasting memories with her beloved grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Baumgartner Funeral Home on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM and at other times at the home of Lynn Mills, 410 Price Cemetery Rd., Pageland, SC 29728.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service at First Freewill Baptist Church of Pageland on Sunday, September 15, at 4:00 PM with Pastor Rodney Smothers officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland.
