Mr. Stephen Pantas Jr., 62, of Pageland, SC passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012 in Charlotte, NC. Mr. Pantas is the son of the late Stephen Sr. and Ruth Pantas. He was the owner of Pageland Hardware Company in Pageland for many years. He was a US Navy Veteran. Mr. Pantas Jr. is survived by his wife, Katina Pantas of Pageland, SC, son, Philip Jameson of Yorktown, VA, step-sons, Gus Plakas (Mary) of Niskayuna, NY, George Plakas (Lindsey) of Niskayuna, NY, daughters, Katherine Evans (Elliott) of Pageland, SC, Christine Davis (Drew) of Pageland, SC, Kimberly Jameson of Lancaster, SC, brother, William Higbee of Baltimore, MD, sister, Carol Pantas of Cortez, FL , seven grandchildren and three step grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Elatos Park located at 25 Jim Parker Rd, Wesley Chapel, NC. The family will receive friends from 10 - 11 AM on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Elatos Park. The interment will follow at the Pantas Family Cemetery, located at 551 Maples Rd, Pageland, SC.
