Mr. Steve Warren Broome, 69, of Waxhaw NC passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020 in Charlotte NC. Mr. Broome was born on May 10, 1950 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late Edward Broome and Betty Simpson Broome. Mr. Broome served in the US Army and he was a General Contractor. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Monroe, NC. He loved all types of dirt track racing. As a child he enjoyed playing basketball. Mr. Broome is survived by his wife, Judy Broome of Waxhaw NC; sons, Jared Broome (Dana M.) of Waxhaw, NC and Anthony Broome (Sarah D.) of Monroe, NC and grandchildren, Blake Broome of Waxhaw, Kolby Broome and Parker Broome both of Monroe, NC. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
