Mrs. Sue Price Hoffman, 74, of Pageland, SC passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sue Hoffman was born on May 12, 1946 in Pageland, SC to the late Houston Lee Price and Annie Lou Griggs Price. Sue loved to attend church and participate in all kinds of church activities, especially with the church group on Tuesday's sending get well cards. Sue liked to travel, especially to Virginia to see family and go shopping. She never met a stranger. Sue was predeceased by her parents, Houston Lee Price and Annie Lou Price Sneed (David Van Sneed); husband, Jerry Dean Hoffman and sister, Johnnie Gail Mangum. Mrs. Hoffman is survived by her son, Darrell Wayne Hoffman (Angel) of Dallas, NC; daughters, Anna Danielle Pittman (Tim) of Richmond, VA, Lou Baxley (Michael) of Florence, SC, Ann Scurry (David) of Effingham, SC and Donda Johnson (Bobby) of Florence, SC; brothers, Keith Price (Sondra) of Pageland, SC, Jimmy Price (Diane) of Jefferson, SC and Michael Sneed (Robbie) of Monroe, NC; grandchildren, Haley Sette of Richmond, VA, Kelsey Swann of Chesterfield, VA, Parker Williams of Dallas, NC, Jamie Bolton (Brian) of Florence, SC, Jodi Todd (Donald) of Florence, SC, Jay Beck (Melody) of Florence, SC, Shellie Hayes (Shane) of Scranton, SC, Wesley Wills of Florence, SC and David Wills, Jr. of Effingham, SC and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home, 708 W. McGregor St., Pageland, SC 29728. There will be a Celebration of Life Funeral Service held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
