Mrs. Susan Lenore Brackett McClain, 45, of Jefferson, South Carolina passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 25, 2018. Susan was born on February 20, 1973 in Lancaster County, South Carolina to Jeannie Merrell and the late Danny Ray Brackett. In addition to her father, Susan is preceded in death by granddaughter, Ariel Elizabeth Clanton and nephew, Chase Alexander Arant. Susan enjoyed spending time with her four legged friends, Cocoa and Roxy. She loved to go fishing and driving around. She had a heart of gold and would help people as much as she could. Susan always had a smile on her face. She was of the Baptist Faith. Those left to celebrate and remember her life include her loving mother, Jeannie Merrell (Richard) of Monroe, NC; son, Ryan McClain (Kaitlyn) of Monroe, NC; daughter, Regan Quinn (Jeff) of Monroe, NC; sister, Janet Arant (Chad) of Jefferson, SC; step-brothers, Chris Merrell of Lancaster, SC and Randy Merrell of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Nathan Quinn and Harley Quinn; numerous family members and friends; special friend, Chris McClain of Jefferson, SC. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Lighthouse Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Steven Sullivan officiating.
