Mrs. Teresa "Terry" Beth Plyler Langley, 61, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at CHS-Union surrounded by her loving family. Terry was born on May 14, 1957 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late Joe Roger Plyler and Beth "Shirley" Cheryl Plyler. Terry grew up in the Pageland Community where she later met and united in marriage to the late Joe Langley. She loved being at home where she would spend her time gardening and working in her yard. When she was not at home, Terry enjoyed traveling to the beach. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, dancing, music, but most importantly she loved spending time with her family whom she loved dearly. Terry was also a member of High Point Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, Terry is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Lee Plyler and Roger Anthony Plyler, as well as, her dog, Snowball and Wendy. Those left to celebrate and remember her life include her loving brother, Joey Plyler (Betsy) of Pageland, South Carolina; sister Cynthia P. Hicks (Billy) of Easley, South Carolina; her four-legged children, Cocoa, Lucy, and Troubles; also her nieces and nephews, Grayson Plyler, Alania Plyler, Alisha Hunter, Katelyn Hunter, and Kaden Owen. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Baumgartner Funeral Home, 708 West McGregor Street, Pageland, South Carolina 29728. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from the Chapel of Baumgartner Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Plyler officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Shriners Hospitals for Crippled Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29605.
