Mrs. Theda Ruth Mungo Lynn, 92, of Pageland, SC passed away on June 4, 2023 at Springhill Assisted Living Pageland, SC. Mrs. Lynn was born on May 31, 1931 in Pageland, SC to the late Perry F. Mungo and Lois Funderburk Mungo. Mrs. Lynn was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Pageland, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class. She retired from Challenger in Pageland, SC after many years. Mrs. Lynn enjoyed sewing, gardening and reading in her spare time. Mrs. Lynn is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Hazel Lynn; son, Richard Hazel Lynn; brother, Perry "Bo" Mungo; sisters, Mary Funderburk and Judy Mills; son-in-law, M.B. Brown and grandchildren, Jason Lynn, Jessica Lynn and Scott Brown. Mrs. Theda Lynn is survived by her sons, Roger Lynn (Pamela) of Rock Hill and Barry Lynn (Dianne) of Murrells Inlet, SC; daughter, Linda Brown of Rock Hill, SC; sister, Elaine Hendrix (Danny) of Pageland, SC; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; special nephew, Steve Jackson (Cathy) of Pageland, SC and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will conduct a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 9, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Pageland with Dr. Joel Dale officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
