Mr. Thomas Allen Steen, 25, of Denver, Colorado formerly of Pageland, South Carolina passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Denver Health Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Thomas Allen Steen was born August 20, 1993 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Danny T. Steen and Donna Mills Steen. Tommy grew up in Pageland, where he attended and graduated from Central High School with the Class of 2012. After high school, Tommy attended Clemson University, where he also became a brother of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics in December, 2016. Tommy moved to Denver, Colorado to work at Dish Network's Corporate Office as a Data Analyst. Tommy was the type of person who never met a stranger and his smile could light up a room. To know Tommy was an honor and his legacy will live on through all the lives he touched during his short time here. Tommy is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Johnny J. Mills, his paternal grandfather, John B. "Pete" Steen, step paternal-grandfather, Harold Mitchell. Those left to celebrate and remember his life include his parents, Danny T. and Donna Mills Steen of Pageland, South Carolina; brother, Trent D. Steen of Clemson, South Carolina; maternal grandmother, Verla Allen Mills of Pageland, South Carolina; paternal grandmother, Johnnie Mitchell of Pageland, South Carolina; paternal step-grandmother, Parnell Steen of Pageland, South Carolina; aunts and uncles, Tom and Debbie Mills Graves, Bobby and Sandy Carnes Mills, Ann Miller Gay, and Amanda and Stephen Ferguson; cousins Jeff and Lesslie Graves Pekarek, Mark and Jessi Graves Rivera, Garrett Mills and fiance Rachel Leonard, J.B. Pekarek, Will Pekarek, Morgan Rivera, Nikko Phongchit (Molly), Olivia Lanci, Emily Lanci, Joe Ferguson, Melissa Miller, and Laura Miller; and girlfriend, Bailey Liberty of Denver, Colorado. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in the Sanctuary of Providence Baptist Church, 232 Providence Church Road, Pageland, South Carolina 29728. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 28, 2018 in the Sanctuary of Providence Baptist Church with Dr. Roger Wall and Dr. Ernest Winburn officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Samuel J. Cadden Chapel, c/o Clemson University Foundation, P.O.
