Mr. James Timothy "Tim" Blackburn, 58, of Monroe, died Monday, December 2, 2019 at CHS - Union in Monroe. Born November 28, 1961 in Union County, he was a son of George Dewey Blackburn and Patsy McManus Blackburn. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Allen Blackburn. He was co-owner of The Petal Shoppe of Monroe with his wife Darlene 30 plus years. He had a love for music and enjoyed sharing his vocal talent. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-8 PM at McEwen Funeral Home - Colonial Chapel in Monroe. Interment services will be private at Forest Lawn East Cemetery. Mr. Blackburn is survived by his wife Darlene Knight Blackburn of the home; son, Wesley Blackburn of Monroe; daughter, Charlie Blackburn of Monroe; grandchildren, Raylen Maverick Blackburn and Hayden James Blackburn; niece, Sheree Knight and her daughter Harper Rayne of Pageland, SC.
