Mr. Toby Eugene Darnell, 49, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017. Toby was born on August 10, 1968 in Greenville, South Carolina to Darrell E. Darnell and Ira Joyce Donahue Darnell. He worked as a shipping supervisor for C.E.M (Chemical Engineer & Machinist) for 16 years. Toby was a member of High Point Fire Department, as well as, a member of First Responders. In his free time, Toby was a pilot. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing but most importantly spending time with his family. He was known as a jokester he would rather be cutting up instead of being serious. Toby was a good Christian and was a big supporter of different missionaries and will be missed dearly by all who loved him. Those left to celebrate and remember his life include his loving parents, Darrell and Ira Joyce Darnell of Greenville, South Carolina; son, Andy Moore of Greer, SC; sister, Mitzi Joyner (Steve) of Ruby, South Carolina, brothers, Darron Darnell (Aimee) of Anderson, South Carolina and Marty Darnell of Greenville, South Carolina; nieces and nephews, Krystal Rollings (Lynn), Aieral Hinson (Doug), Cassie Darnell, Aaron Joyner, Drew Darnell, Taylor Darnell, Madison Darnell and Harley Darnell; great nieces & nephews, Kingston Jackson, Eli Joyner, Ax Darnell and Nova Darnell; also his canine companion, Scooter. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from the chapel of Baumgartner Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Drew officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Baumgartner Funeral Home, 708 West McGregor Street, Pageland, South Carolina 29728 and other times at the home of Lynn and Krystal Rollings, 1412 Kirkley Road, Jefferson, SC 29718.
