Mr. Tommy Alexander Johnson, 72, of Jefferson, SC passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in Monroe, NC. Mr. Johnson was born on August 30, 1949 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Rufus Edgar Johnson and Clara Lee Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a truck driver for forty years before he retired. After his retirement, he enjoyed watching television. His favorite shows were Gun Smoke, Reba and The Golden Girls. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Johnson and brother, Eddie R. Johnson. Mr. Johnson is survived by his daughters, Melissa Smith (Keith Springs) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kandi Williams (Kevin) of Pageland, SC and Peggy Johnson of Mt. Croghan, SC; sisters, Patricia Jenkins and Sandra Kirkley both of Jefferson, SC; sister-in-law, Robin Johnson of Jefferson, SC; grandchildren, Kennon Smith, Kalil Smith, Kendal Smith, Brewer Williams, Michael Johnson and Alex Hammonds; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive family and friends Sunday July 24, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at his home. Private Cremation Arrangements as per family request.
