Mr. Vester Brown, 77, of Pageland, SC passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at his home. Mr. Brown was born on November 1, 1944 in Laurinburg, NC. He enjoyed spending time with people and never met a stranger. Vester liked to go camping and fishing, especially with his grandchildren. He loved playing different types of music, especially the piano and guitar. Vester would spend time in his yard taking care of his flowers and gardens. When he was not outdoors, he liked canning and cooking different foods. Vester is preceded in death by his mother, Mae Brown and his son, Rodney Michael Brown. Vester Brown is survived by his loving wife, Susan Brown of Pageland, SC; son, Jeremiah Brown (Kellie) of Fort Lawn, SC; daughters, Grace Brown Rutledge (Drew) of Frisco, TX, Autumn and Chelsey; step daughter, Crystal Gordon (Ben) of Prosper, TX; sister, Barbara Griffith (Johnny) of Fayetteville, NC; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home, 708 W. McGregor St., Pageland, SC 29728.
