Mrs. Vickie Gail Deese Mills, 72, of Pageland, SC passed away on August 22, 2021 while in Florence, SC. Mrs. Vickie Mills was born on November 18, 1948 to the late John Thomas Deese and Barbara Ann Anderson Deese. She later in life met and united in marriage to Steve J. Mills, Sr. Vickie enjoyed taking care of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a seamstress for 5 years and worked for Belk's in Monroe, NC for about 6 years. She is preceded in death by her brothers, John Deese, Jr. and Danny Deese. Vickie Mills is survived by her husband of 54 years, Steve J. Mills, Sr. of Pageland, SC; son, Steve J. Mills, Jr. (Lisa) of Monroe, NC; daughter, Carey Gail Whitley of Jefferson, SC; brother, Richard Deese of Waxhaw, NC; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
