Mr. Walter Eugene Albright Sr., 82, of Liberty Hill, SC passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at his home. Mr. Walter Albright was born on August 11, 1938 in Harlan, Kentucky to the late William Lafayette Albright and Frances Hensley Albright. Walter served in the US Air Force. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing. Walter was a musician. He loved to go to flea markets and be on the water, especially the lake. Mr. Albright is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Albright; son, Walter Eugene Albright Jr.; sister, Juanita Smith; brother, Ancil Albright; brother-in-law, Jim Smith and daughter-in-law, Angie Albright. Mr. Albright is survived by his son, Joseph Albright of Rock Hill, SC; daughter, Margie Gulledge (Jimmy Plyler) of Pageland, SC; brother, J.D. Albright of Pageland, SC; sister, Janice Wade of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Jason Plyler, Lee Mills, Keisha Albright Walters (Matthew), Misti Albright McDougall (Joey), Joseph Albright Jr. (Misty Childers), Jessica Robinson (Austin) and Carley Eubanks and great grandchildren, Kacie Plyler, Walter Simpson, Kloie Simpson, Dyson Albright, Josie McDougall and Sophia Walters. Due to COVID 19, the family asks that everyone that attends the funeral to please wear a mask and keep in mind social distancing rules. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home, 708 W. McGregor St., Pageland, SC 29728. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mack Mullis officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
