Warren Edward "Fuzzy" Geddings, of Monroe, North Carolina, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2023, at the age of 78. Warren was a man of great spirit, with a magnetic personality and a witty charm who was loved and admired by all who knew him. Born on January 12, 1945, in Monroe, NC, he was the only child of the late Nelle Robertson Anderson and step-father, Howard K. "Bud" Anderson. He was a 1963 graduate of Pageland High School, and furthered his education by attending the University of South Carolina and Wingate University. Warren was a proud patriot, serving his country for several years in the National Guard.
Warren was a successful businessman, working in industrial sales before owning his own business, Warren Products. His innovative mind led him to design and manufacture mixing equipment used by industries worldwide. His industrious spirit and determination were a testament to his character and an inspiration to all who knew him.
In 1967, Fuzzy married the love of his life, Vicki Cox Geddings, and together they raised two sons, Kevin Ray Geddings and Wade Edward Geddings. Warren was a devoted husband and father. His family was his pride and joy, and he took great pleasure in spending time with his grandchildren, Olivia Marie Geddings, Sauyer Anderson Geddings, and Wesley Caroline Geddings.
Warren was a man of many passions, he was an avid golfer and a fan of PGA Golf, football, old movies, and classic cars. His love for sports and entertainment was only surpassed by his love for his family and friends. His home was often filled with laughter and camaraderie, and he was known for his ability to light up a room with his humor and friendly nature. A special bond was shared between Fuzzy and his fur babies, Nick and Sam. His love for animals was evident in the care and affection he showed them. His pets brought him great joy and companionship, and their presence added to the warmth and welcoming spirit of his home. Fuzzy Geddings will be remembered as a man of great spirit, whose love for life was infectious. His humor, friendliness, and spirited nature left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Warren's life was a testament to the power of love, friendship, and a positive outlook.
There will be a Celebration of Life Graveside Service on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Patricia Humphries Bivens officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in his honor to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131 or Hospice of Union County, 700 West Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
