Mr. Wayne Price,79, of Pageland, SC passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at his home while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Wayne Price was born on August 2, 1941 in Marshville, North Carolina to the late Cyrus King Price and Dorothy Martin Price. He is predeceased by his son, Scott Dwayne Price; daughter, Susan Price Breisch; one brother and the mother of his children, Frances Evans Price. Mr. Price was the owner and operator of Wayne Price Fencing and was a member of the Mason's. Wayne enjoyed watching Westerns and the Andy Griffith Show on TV. During his spare time, he loved to go fishing and sit in his yard under the shade tree. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Gwin Price of Pageland, SC; son, Shawn David Price of Pageland; step daughter, Deanna Belk (Charlie) of Pageland, SC; brothers, Virgil Price (Elsie) and Roger Price (Pat) both of Pageland, SC; sisters, Virginia Brown of Calabash, NC, Carolyn Murray (Bill) of Little River, SC, Violet Hildreth of Huntersville, NC, Vergie Ricketts of Myrtle Beach, SC, Rita Woodard (Bill) of Greenville, NC and Rhonda Honeycutt (Lowell) of Albemarle, NC; grandchildren, Farrah Strickland, Kyle Strickland (Courtney) Carly Parker (Jeff) Taylor Belk Courtney (Ryan) and Saxton Kirkley, and three great grandchildren. Anyone can come by the funeral home Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM to pay their respects and sign the register book. There will be a Celebration of Life Graveside Service at 2:30 PM on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Pageland, SC with Pastor Melvin Keziah officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
