Mr. William Dwight Barrett, 63, of Pageland, SC went to be with his Lord on Friday, May 10, 2019 while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. William Dwight Barrett was born on August 6, 1955 in Charlotte, NC to the late James Barrett and Lola Spainhour Barrett. William graduated from NC State University with a Bachelors in Horticulture. He was very grateful for his education at NC State. He loved his job and enjoyed having the opportunity to design areas for landscaping and what plants would do well in the area. He was a huge NC State football player and enjoyed watching the game with his son, Will. He would do anything for his grandchildren and enjoyed every minute with them. He loved to attend Providence Baptist Church where he was a member and anytime they needed help he would volunteer to help. He also listened to James Taylor records in his spare time. Mr. Barrett is survived by his sons, Will Barrett of Pageland, SC and Richard Barrett of West Orange, NJ; daughters, Andre Cole (Ryan) of Charlotte, NC and Elizabeth Barrett of Atlanta, GA; brother, David Barrett of Houston, TX; aunts, Linda Heath of North Wilkesboro, NC and Gerry Barker of King, NC and grandchildren, Amelia Cole and Aaron Cole of Charlotte, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will hold a Memorial Service on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church with Dr. Roger Wall officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Michael J.
