Zeb Thurman Jordan Jr., 67 of Pageland, SC, a father, grandfather and master jeweler passed away peacefully with his children holding his hands, on July 19, 2025, in Pageland, South Carolina. He was born on September 5, 1957 in Niceville, Florida to the late Zeb Thurman Jordan, Sr. and Mary Joanne Jordan.

Along with his parents, Zeb is preceded in death by his older sister, Wanda Jordan Laney. His legacy continues through his loving daughter, Kristen Kingen (David) of Monroe, NC and his devoted son, Zachary Jordan (Ciara) of Jefferson, SC. His joy was multiplied with the birth of his grandson, David Jordan.

In 1975, Zeb started working at Jordan's Jewelers alongside his father. His passion for unique and one-of-a-kind things, coupled with his attention to detail, made him a natural in the art of jewelry. He took over the family business between 1994-1995 and celebrated over 50 years in business, establishing relationships that extended beyond the store's doors. Zeb's talent for custom designing unique pieces was unparalleled, and his knowledge of the craft was vast. He was not just a jeweler, but an artist who brought the visions of his clients to life.

A man of many interests, Zeb was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, and cherished the moments spent at games with his son. He found solace in fishing, a pastime that allowed him to embrace the tranquility of nature. Zeb's love for his grandson was evident in the time they spent together, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Even during times of illness, Zeb's spirit remained unshaken, and he continued to help others, a testament to his generous heart. His love for bargaining was well-known, and he could often be found at the flea market, engaging in the friendly haggle that he so enjoyed. His hands were skilled not only in the delicate work of jewelry but also in the craft of knife-making, where he applied the same level of artistry and precision.  Zeb Thurman Jordan Jr. will be remembered as a faith-filled and creative soul, a man who built a life not just for himself but for his community.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to all his caregivers along with the nurses at Gentiva Hospice for taking care of him during his illness.
