Jonathan D. Holland

Jonathan D. Holland Owner & Operator / National Board Certified North and South Carolina Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer / Certified Crematory Operator FDE #3624

Jonathan D. Holland has been serving families in funeral service since late 2006. Born and raised in Union County, he has been fortunate enough to meet and get to know many people in the area.

At the age of 5, he began helping his father with wedding photography and met many people through that experience over the years. A graduate of Forest Hills High School, Jonathan continued his education at Fayetteville Technical College and obtained a degree in Funeral Service.

From an early age, he knew that he wanted to be in the funeral industry and began to work for Gordon Funeral Service immediately following high school and did so until the time that Holland Funeral Service & Crematory was founded.

He is a member of the Monroe Kiwanis Club and Wingate Lions Club. Jonathan is an ordained deacon and attends Centerview Baptist Church.

He is married to his high school sweetheart, Jana Knight Holland, and together, they have two daughters, Olivia and Emma, and six dogs. In his off time, he enjoys spending time with his family and hunting.

Jonathan feels that it is an honor to care for the families that we serve.

Garrett Holland

Owner & Operator / National Board Certified North Carolina Funeral Director and Embalmer / Certified Crematory Operator Unlicensed

Garrett D. Holland was born and raised in Union County, North Carolina. A graduate of Forest Hills High School, Garrett continued his education at Fayetteville Technical College and obtained a degree in Funeral Service.

Garrett is married to the former McKenzie Conner, and they have three dogs: Jax, Ella, and Shadow. Garrett is a member of Lee Park Church. In his off time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Garrett is honored to be serving Union County.

Jana Holland

Unlicensed

Jana Knight Holland is a lifelong resident of Union County and a graduate of Forest Hills High School. She continued her education at UNCC and obtained a B.A in Criminal Justice.

Jana is married to her high school sweetheart, Jonathan Holland, and together, they have two beautiful daughters, Olivia and Emma Holland.

Jana is a member of Centerview Baptist Church and loves singing in the choir. In her off time, she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and crafting.

Jana is honored to be able to serve the families of her community.

Hope Williams

Apprentice Funeral Director and Embalmer #4658

Hope Williams joined the staff of Baumgartner Funeral Home in 2024 and in July of the same year became and Apprentice Funeral Director and Embalmer. She attended Piedmont Technical College where she received her Associates degree in Funeral Services in December of 2023 and she also has a Business degree. She has two children Tylor and Caydence and enjoys spending time with family in her free time.

Randy Davis

Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer #3493

Randy is a dual licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer and also has specialized skills in other areas. He is an ordained Southern Baptist Minister and has pastored for 30 years. In addition, Randy leads music for congregational singing and directs a choir. Randy received part of his education at Wingate University where he earned his BS and graduated cum laude. He received his Funeral Service education at Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, SC where he graduated with honors and earned another Associates degree. Randy enjoys the company of other people and he believes that a career in Funeral Services is a calling, and he is grateful that the Lord has given him the ability to help people through one of life's greatest trials. There have been many occasions when he has provided pastoral care for grieving families that did not have a minister.
Randy loves to be outdoors and when he has some personal time, he enjoys hunting and fishing. In addition, he likes to travel to new places, cook, and entertain. His musical interests range from church hymns to Blue Grass. Randy and his wife Kathy are very proud of their son Blake who is an NC State graduate and works in the poultry industry.

Lindsey Evans

Funeral Assistant - Unlicensed

Lindsey Evans joined the staff of Baumgartner Funeral Home in October of 2015. Lindsey and his wife, Vivian live in Pageland, SC where they are active members of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Evans has served as Chairman of Deacons and loves to sing in the choir.

Ronnie Roberts

Funeral Assistant - Unlicensed

Ronnie joined the staff of Baumgartner Funeral Home in April of 2012. He and his wife, Susan Gardner Roberts live in Pageland, SC with their fur baby, Millie. Ronnie and Susan are active members at Providence Baptist Church, where he serves as Church Treasurer and Chairman of the Cemetery Committee. In his spare time, Ronnie loves to play golf and work in the yard.

Pastor Matthew Neisler

Funeral Assistant - Unlicensed

Pastor Matthew Neisler joined the staff of Baumgartner Funeral Home in September of 2023. Matthew retired from Pageland Yarn Mills after serving as Vice President for 46 years. He attended the Trinity Bible Institute in Indian Land, SC and received his Master's Degree in Christian Ministry on May 6, 2023. He is married to his wife, Ramona Neisler and has two sons, Dillon and Cody. He enjoys working on cars and spending time with his dog Bella.

Pastor Trey Thompson

Funeral Assistant - Unlicensed

Pastor Trey Thompson joined the staff of Baumgartner Funeral Home in December of 2024. Trey proudly served our country in the US Marines from 1999-2004. Since 2018, he as served as the Pastor of Hope Family Worship in Pageland, SC. Trey is married to his wife, Becky and has two daughters, Allison and Victoria, also they have a fur baby, Buddy. During his free time he enjoys spending time with his family. Trey has a passions for serving other people in the community and enjoys working at the funeral home.

Rev. David Grubbs

Funeral Assistant - Unlicensed

David was born in Flint, Michigan, and he left the depressed labor area in 1982 to join the United States Air Force. Thinking he would only do four years, he ended up serving our nation for thirty years, earning the highest enlisted rand of Chief Master Sergeant. He retired from the USAF in 2012 from Shaw AFB in Sumter South Carolina. He then worked as a contractor back to USAF as he pursued his ministerial credentials.
Both he and his wife are credentialed as Ordained Ministers within the Church of God, Cleveland, TN, since December 2017. He has been married to his lovely wife and partner in ministry since April of 1982. They have three adult children and seven grandchildren. He is active in ministry around the Chesterfield County area. He finds joy in worshipping God and serving those in our community. He enjoys singing and playing the guitar, and is a member of the worship band "For My Deliverance." He has been the lead pastor of the Jefferson Church of God since September 2020.

Chuck Hartman

Funeral Assistant - Unlicensed

Chuck Hartman joined the staff of Baumgartner Funeral Home in August of 2016. He is a Retired Teacher and Coach in the Jefferson/Pageland area. Chuck and his wife, Jackie live in Jefferson and have two children, Battle and Whitney. Chuck and his family are Lifelong members of Jefferson United Methodist Church in Jefferson, South Carolina. Chuck is honored to be able to continue serving the families in his community.

Bryon Cline

Cemetery Maintenance - Unlicensed

Bryon joined the staff of Baumgartner Funeral Home in August of 2010. He is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance for the grounds of Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland and Baumgartner Funeral Home. Bryon and his wife, Jessica live in Pageland along with their children. Bryon likes to spend his free time with his family and deer hunting.
